Mate tee (Yerba Mate) on tüüpiline Lõuna-Ameerika jook. Sellel looduslikult kofeiiniga taimeteel on ainulaadne vürtsikas-magus maitse, mis kosutab ja ergutab tänu kõrgele kofeiinisisaldusele ning mida peetakse suurepäraseks alternatiiviks kohvile.
Koristatud lehti, lehe- ja õievarsi ning noori lehtede võrseid töödeldakse kuumusega, et vältida oksüdeerumist ja säilitada kaunist rohelist värvi.

Mate Tea (Yerba Mate) is a typical South American drink. This naturally caffeinated herbal tea has a unique spicy – sweet flavour that is invigorating and stimulating thanks to its high caffeine content and is considered a perfect alternative to coffee.
The harvested leaves, leaf and flower stalks and young leaf shoots are treated with heat to prevent oxidation and to preserve the beautiful green colour.
